Many people cause injury to themselves everyday by lifting weights incorrectly. You can hurt your neck, back, wrists, or a list of other body parts. It can happen suddenly too! You will notice a difference in no time just by doing this. It doesn’t matter what muscle group you are targeting, grip that bar tight!

While gripping the bar tight you should do arm curls and reverse arm curls. Start with your weights hanging at your side. Then slowly lift all the way up and then back down slowly. Start off with weight that is comfortable for you. Pick a weight that you can do at least three sets of ten repetitions. This is a good starting place. When you can do three sets of twenty reps it will be time for you to add weight. Then you start over with three sets of ten reps.

Stay away from wrist curls. They can cause severe injury!

Learning how to get forearms is not that difficult but it is really easy to overwork your forearm muscles and injure them. The wrists are also at high risk  for injury too. The right methods, safety precautions, and techniques should be applied always. Building muscle can be easily done, and without injury, when you know how.

Never assume that you know what you are doing unless you have been trained or if you have many years of experience with weight lifting. Like with anything, you should have a plan. A plan by a trained professional that will target building muscle safely and quickly. The problem is that there are too many so-called experts that are telling us to do different things and it is easy to get confused.
